The project shall ensure improved indoor environment at the main building of NTNU Ålesund. The ventilation and heating facility must be upgrades so that the facility fulfils all user and regulation requirements based on current use of the building.
The main building at NTNU Ålesund consists of four floors plus basement, 11,842 sqm GFA in total.
The main building (and teaching area) is built for a capacity of 120 employees and 1 200 students. There are currently over 280 employees and 2 500 students connected to NTNU in Ålesund. There is a shortage of space facilitated for teaching, and the number of students and employees can continue to increase in the coming years. This means that the we must facilitate for increased use and the requirements for indoor climate that this entails.

The increase in the number of employees and students makes it necessary to upgrade the ventilation facility. This means that new aggregates, channel conduits and control systems must be established. In addition, the existing installation no longer performs at it’s projected capacity.

The new installation will be built with a system for active regulation of heating and cooling media, so that the capacity is demand-controlled and dynamic in relation to the occupancy that will vary during the day and time of year.
To have enough capacity in the facility, all channels must have their dimensions increased, which leads to all ceilings being dismantled and re-established. The lighting system will be replaced and active regulation of radiators with sensor control will be established.

In the project, we will also seek to implement the existing central processing system in a larger network that includes multiple of the Directorate of Public Construction’s buildings and properties. This will be carried out in a separate contract, and will have an interface with this contract.

Vilkår for deltakelse
Egnethet til å utøve yrkesvirksomheten:
The tenderer is required to have a legally established company.
Company Registration Certificate, foreign companies are required to have an equivalent certificate in the country where the company is registered, alternatively StartBANK ID.
Økonomisk og finansiell stilling:
Tenderers are required to have satisfactory financial implementation ability.
The size of the turnover, seen in relation to the contract value, can be emphasised.
The Norwegian Construction and Property Management Department will carry out a credit rating of tenderers.
Tenderers can, in addition, be asked to submit the auditor confirmed annual accounts, alternatively, state StartBANK ID.
Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:
The contractor is required to have sufficient experience from assignments with comparative value.
A description shall be submitted of up to 3 reference projects in the last 3 years with comparable value, with information about i.a.:
— the name of the project,
— contracting authority,
— the project´s size in m2 and cost,
— type of building,
— the assignment´s contract value excluding VAT,
— type of contract (if this is a turnkey contract, if own employees or sub-contractors have planned the project),
— the tenderer's assignments / role in the project,
— the start-up date and completion date (year) / if not completed — where one is in the project.
Particularly for engineering design services carried out by others than the turnkey contractor.
If the company/companies carrying out the engineering design services are other than the executing turnkey contractor (or if the reference projects are not turnkey contracts where employees of the executing turnkey contractor have carried out the engineering design services), the engineering design company / companies who shall carry out the engineering design services shall document up until 3 reference projects with comparative value, with information as stated in point 1 above, as well as which phases the assignment was performed in.
