Production of the multi-media and audio-visual content of the exhibition.

The National Museum needs to realise digital communication concepts that shall be a part of a uniform exhibition. The concept is being prepared through the Museum´s general planning of the exhibition.

Art, design and architecture shall be at the centre of the Museum but in selected places in the exhibition, spacial interventions shall give the public unexpected and innovative multi-media experiences. This can be in the form of large screens on walls, projections, interactive installations, or installations that combine content, sound and light. Visual and interactive communication in the room shall create variation, atmosphere and invite the public to participate. Digital communication, such as film, a combination of film and photos (archive material, etc.), digital maps, or other ways of detailing information shall be included as a more continual characteristic.

The digital communication initiatives shall be developed for the physical exhibition, but, where appropriate, it must be possible to use them for communication on other digital screens away from the public.

A concept, general description of various types of content and proposals for technical equipment with quality parameters will be prepared through the National Museum´s work on the exhibition design and communication strategy. The National Museum has contracted the exhibition designer Guicciardini and Magnimed as a sub-supplier for the innovation of the digital concept. Suppliers who are contracted through K932 will have to cooperate with the museum and the concept developer on the preparation of a general plan and process for further development from concept to the realised solution. This includes further development of the concept and design for communication, planning and execution of film production, development of interactive systems (e.g., historical and political digital maps) that present new and existing material, as well as the production and programming of complex installations that combine sound, light, content and projection.

The ICT department in the National Museum has worked out principles for the content from production, transformation, storage and accessing. The supplier in K932 must prepare reliable systems in the exhibition. The National Museum needs a supplier who will cooperate on and prepare an appropriate technical architecture for reliable systems, at the same time that ICT principles are complied with.

The supplier shall contribute to the software, content and digital screens being designed for a uniform expression in the exhibition and shall prepare detailed rotating books and carry out the production of developed concept drafts in cooperation with the National Museum. The National Museum needs a supplier who has considerable insight and experience with this principle.

The work group for the exhibition has got a lot of work done on mapping needs and the concept for a multi-media and audio-visual supplement. A decision has not yet been made as to whether there is a need for audio-visual and multi-media content beyond the concept that has been prepared in the exhibition, or for other areas in the museum, or what procurement method would be appropriate. PNN-BUT and the National Museum envisage a need for the option to order, produce and install audio-visual and multi-media content through K932, also for needs that first appear at a later date than this notice. The intention is to see to this through a short description of what future assistance for the development of communication content on digital screens could involve and add this as an option in the form of a framework agreement between the museum and the supplier, remunerated in accordance with time used.

The National Musuem needs to have an option to enter into a maintenance contract. How the maintenance need can be covered will be a theme in the dialogue phase. A maintenance contract in accordance with SSA-V will be added as an option.

— Programming AV equipment.

— A framework agreement for additional procurements such as the further development of systems, development of new systems and productions.

— An operations and maintenance contract.

— Consultancy services.

Vilkår for deltakelse
Økonomisk og finansiell stilling:

The tenderer shall have an economic position that makes it possible to fulfil their contract obligations throughout the entire agreement period. The income statement and balance for the last 3 years. An auditor certificate for each year. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to carry out a credit assessment.

Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:

Tenderers shall have considerable experience from relevant assignments. Particular weight will be put on experience from deliveries to museums/the museum sector in the last 5 years. The tenderer shall deliver a list of reference assignments that are delivered to customers in the public or private sector. Documentation shall be given for each assignment in the form of a declaration from the candidate, which contains a description of the delivery and their role in the delivery, the degree of innovation, degree of complexity, contract amount/value, start date and completion date for the assignment, as well as the name of the Contracting Authority. The description can be up to two A4 pages per project. Three to 5 relevant reference projects are requested. At least 3 of the reference projects ought to have been from the last 3 years.

The tenderer shall have the capacity to be able to fulfil the obligations in the contract.

Significant competence is required within technical systems and the ability to deliver. Tenderers must have the necessary resources to deliver to the museum sector, with the required competence for realising a digital concept for the exhibition. An overview shall be provided of the tenderer´s capacity and level of experience, tools, facilities and available technical equipment, as well as an overview of a relevant example of team composition for this assignment.

The description can be up to 3 A4 pages.

Tenderers must have standards for project execution. Tenderers must demonstrate that they have the necessary methodology, processes and leader qualities to fulfil the obligations in the contract. Tenderers shall describe a relevant method for project implementation for this assignment. The description can be up to 1 A4 page.
