Interkommunale IKT-tenester Nordhordland

The municipalities in Nordhordland: Austrheim, Fedje, Lindås, Masfjorden, Meland, Modalen, Osterøy, Radøy and Vaksdal, have established a joint ICT operational company, with Osterøy municipality as the host municipality.
Austevoll kommune has also signed and agreement on the operation of IT solutions with IKTNH, and shall be included in the new agreement on telecommunications services.
On behalf of the collaboration, Inter-municipal ICT services Nordhordland shall carry out a tender competition on:
1. Telephony services for Land line telephony/IP telephony.
2. Telephony services for mobile telephony.
3. Cloud based telephone exchange.
These internet and telephony services shall be operated as cost effectively as possible for all sectors of each individual municipality. They will also be optimised across the services areas in each municipality.
