The location in Rana will only require mobile security guard services. The location in Oslo requires mobile and stationary security guard services. The National Library of Norway is in a changing process with major increase in the number of exhibits and arrangements. The Library has recently opened a cafe in the premises in Oslo. The service providers must therefore be prepared for changes in relation to requirements. See also the permission to change the contract in accordance with point 17 given in NS8434:2008 (‘General contractual terms for manual guard and security services’). These terms shall regulate the agreement between the successful tenderer and the National Library of Norway.

The agreement period is from Monday 5.3.2018. The agreement period is for 2 years with option for the contracting authority to extend the agreement for 2 years. The maximum contract period is 4 years.
The contract value is approx 5 000 000 NOK excluding VAT. The estimated contract value is based on historical figures The total value of the agreement (4 years) is approx. 20 000 000 NOK, excluding VAT. The value must be considered as an estimate and thus not binding for the contracting authority.

The buildings in Oslo comprise 1 main building with 8 floors above the ground level; four some developed floors below the ground level, as well as a depot building with entrance and receipt of goods and three depot floors below the ground level.
The buildings in Mo i Rana comprise one main building and a nitrate film storage and a closely connected security depot. The National Library of Norway also has 2 external warehouses.
