Renovation of 14-1630 Måløy bridge The bridge is located in a coastal climate and weather beaten area. The construction was completed in 1973. The bridge is a prestressed concrete cantilever bridge with 34 spans and a total length of 1 224 m. Most of the spans have lengths around 30 m. The main spans over the sea, in axes 22-24 are 125 m long, whilst the two adjoining side spans in axes 21-22 and 24-25 are 65 m long. The side spans go over residential and industrial areas, public and private roads and recreational areas.
The renovation work includes, amongst other things, the following disciplines:
— Assembly of cathodic protection.
— Mechanical concrete repairs.
— Replacing bearings.
— Maintenance of bearing plates.
— Replacing and cleaning joints.
— Replacing the drainage system.
— Scaffolding/access and screening all work.
— Electrical installations.
