The x-raying system shall primarily be used for radiation of tumours in mice. The system must supply a homogeneous dosage for tumours with a diameter of up to 1.5 cm, subcutaneous or orthopaedic injections in the mouse's legs or organs of interest. The radiation dosage per fraction will vary from below 1 Gy to 10-12 Gy. The system shall also be used for full-body radiation for immobilise the mouse's immune system. The system shall function as a moveable, complete shield, free-standing chamber in the laboratory.
