The Norwegian Public Roads Administration owns and operates approx. 340 weather stations located along the road network in Norway. The station network is in constant development and there is an ongoing need for the procurement of new stations and supplementing/replacing individual sensors.
This agreement comprises the purchase of 15 complete weather stations with associated sensors. The purchase includes weather stations that shall be delivered to respectively: The Norwegian Public Roads Administration, Eastern Region, Western Region, Central Region and Northern Region
The weather stations shall supply data to Vegvær.

The weather stations shall supply data to Vegvær.

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:

For stations number 10,11 and 12 (all in the Northern Region), sensors are for recording the measured values Road Condition, Friction on the roadways, amount of ice on the roadways, and amount of snow on the roadways shall be removed from the total price for the weather station.

Proposals for new types of sensors to measure the values for these stations is desirable. The intention is to trial alternative/new sensors with equivalent measured values regarding research and development.

The requirements of the measured values for the alternative sensors is basically the same as that described in Annex A — Requirement Specification Weather Stations, but minor deviations can be accepted. Data sheet and description of the offered alternative sensors must be attached.

The price form is arranged in such a way as to allow the tenderer to give a price on two alternative solutions for the requested measurement values. A price must be given on at least one solution to record the specified measurement values, but it is the tenderers choice to submit prices on one or two alternatives.

The price of sensors priced as an option in Annex G-Price Form, are not included in the price used as the award criteria.

Egnethet til å utøve yrkesvirksomheten:

The tenderer shall be a legally established company.

Tenderers shall confirm that they confirm this requirement when submitting their tender.

Tenderers must present the following documentation proof if requested by the Contracting Authority.

Norwegian tenderers: Company Registration Certificate.

Foreign companies: Documentation proving that the company is registered in a trade or business register as prescribed by the law of the country where the tenderer is established.

Økonomisk og finansiell stilling:

The contracting authority will obtain a credit rating from Experian. In order to be qualified tenderers must be assessed as credit worthy from a point score. The Contracting Authority may request that the tenderer submit their accounts from the last three years for evaluation if there is any uncertainty or need.

Minste nivå(er) av standarder:

Tenderers must have the financial capacity to implement the contract.

Tenderers shall confirm that they confirm this requirement when submitting their tender.

Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:

Tenderers must present the following documentation proof if requested by the Contracting Authority.

Tenderers shall enclose a list of the most important relevant deliveries and services performed during the past 3 years, including information on the point in time, a brief description of the assignment, as well as the name of the public or private recipients.

A minimum of 3 (maximum 5) reference assignments must be described.
