The scope and purpose of the procurement.
The competition is for a contract for the provision of plumbing services for replacing approx. 20,000 water meters in the contract period in Lier, Røyken and Hurum municipalities.
Water meters are obligatory for all buildings in Lier, Røyken and Hurum municipalities. There are approx. 20 000 water meters in the municipalities, the oldest ones are from 1980. The meters are the municipalities' property and responsibility. The water meters have a normal lifetime of approx. 15 years before they are replaced, but meters that have operational difficulties are replaced immediately.
The procurement's value is estimated to be: 20 000 000 NOK excluding VAT. The value is an estimate based on statistics and accounting figures for the procurement of equivalent services for the same buyer group for previous years, as well as future budgets. The value must therefore be considered an estimate and is not binding.
The municipalities may decide more frequent replacement of water meters than stated in the contract documentation.

Vilkår for deltakelse
Egnethet til å utøve yrkesvirksomheten:
(ESPD: Part II A.e) Certificates for Tax and VAT.
The tenderer shall have settled conditions in relation to payment of taxes and VAT.
Documentation: A certificate showing paid VAT, taxes and social security contributions is required. The certificate shall be issued by the competent authority in the country where the tenderer is established (the Norwegian certificate for tax and VAT is common and can be ordered from altinn.no, former RF-1244) in accordance with the laws and regulations in the country of origin. The certificate must not be more than 6 months from the deadline for receipt of tenders.
