The objective of the procurement is to meet the requirements for depot maintenance of P3 Orion surveillance aircraft, which are operated by the Royal Norwegian AirForce. The depot maintenance on the aircraft will be carried out in accordance with the intervals in the Planned Maintenance Interval (PMI) for the P-3 aircraft and it depends on the number of flight hours.
Depot maintenance is the most thorough maintenance that the aircraft go through and therefore we would like to establish an option to order ‘Over & Above’ or ‘Additional Work’ for additional work that is uncovered during the maintenance.

Each individual call-off for depot maintenance is estimated to be for between 10-15 000 000 NOK.The amount of additional work arising from the maintenance is uncertain, it is, therefore, difficult to estimate the correct total value and the value of each individual call-off.There is uncertainty regarding the number of call-offs that the contracting authority will order under the framework agreement, it depends on how the Norwegian P-3 fleet shall operate in the next 7 years, which is difficult to predict.All estimates have been made according to the contracting authority's best judgement.90 000 000
