Operational leasing contract for gym equipment for Drammensbadet KF

Drammen kommune

Drammensbadet has, since autumn 2008, run a gym in combination with the swimming pool. We currently have approx. 1300 members with a gym/swimming membership.
The current leasing contract expires 31.12.2017 and we would therefore like a new contract for operational leasing. The leasing contract shall also include a service contract for the gym apparatuses in this leasing contract.
We would, therefore, like to continue with a Lot of our apparatuses and only replace the apparatuses that are most worn/have the most need for future maintenance. The new apparatuses must, therefore, be adapted to the existing ones as regards placement, electricity and design.
Our gym has two rooms of respectively 220 m2. (1st floor) and 450 m2 (2nd floor), the smallest room has bicycles and other group sessions and the largest room has free weight training and apparatuses. We also have many group sessions in water. The changes shall be made to the largest room.

For the future, we would like to develop the uniqueness of having a gym in combination with water activities. We would like to be a modern centre that offers general training on land and in water for a broad target group (16 - 90 years). We would therefore like the line/version choice of apparatuses to take this into consideration without compromising quality. The contracting authority will emphasise that the tenderer is not only to supply the equipment, but he shall also ensure good service routines and train the gym´s personnel in the use of the equipment. The tenderer will also be a sparring partner in the final design and placement of the gym equipment in order to optimise the operation and ensure good training conditions.

The tenderer shall take existing/old equipment in part exchange. A list of the gym equipment that will be part exchanged is in the tender form (Annex 1), there will also be equipment for part exchange during the contract period.
We would like to have an operational leasing contract over 5 years, with an option for upgrading apparatuses during the contract.
A joint site inspection of the rooms and current equipment will be arranged for tenderers who would like this on Tuesday 16 January 2018. Registration is to be sent via the communication tab in Mercell by 11 January 2018.
