The competition consists of the remaining engineering design services for and the complete construction of a new town hall, car park and the accompanying outdoor installations. Wing B of the existing town hall shall be completely renovated and it shall be a part of the new town hall. Other parts of the existing town hall, including the technical room on the roof of wing B, shall be demolished. The outdoor installations consist of the town hall square towards the north, part of the new Rådhusvegen and Byparken in the south. A new public car park for 162 vehicles shall be established under the town hall square. The project has a budgetary limit of 392 200 000 NOK, including VAT.
