Sandnes town council approved the construction of a swimming pool at Iglemyr in Sandnes municipality in the financial plan for 2017 — 2020. The approved budget sets aside a total of 233 000 000 NOK in investment resources for the project, including, amongst other things, plot and engineering design costs and VAT. The swimming pool will be approx. 5 400 m2 and shall include a main pool of 25x21 m, two warm water pools, a grandstand with 250 seats and the accompanying rooms. The outside area shall be developed in accordance with the outdoor plan and the plan for municipal engineering sites. The project model will be an execution contract organised as joint contracts, with all the construction disciplines in one main contract. BH has engaged a separate BL to coordinate the contracts.
