A framework agreement shall be entered into for requirements for beds, shower and toilet aids, mobility aids an person lifts, etc. The procurement includes the following areas/groups:
1) Beds, mattresses and accessories.
2) Hygiene equipment and mobility aids, etc.
3) Person lifts and sails.
Detailed requirements and descriptions of the product groups are stated in the requirement specification.
The contract is divided up into three lots and tenders can be submitted for 1 or several lots.
The expected contract value for 4 years, for all contracts is approx. 2 500 000 NOK. The value is based on previous years' consumption. This estimate is, however, in no way binding for Tromsø municipality in the contract period.

A framework agreement shall be entered into for hospital beds, mattresses and accessories. The procurement includes the following areas/groups:
A) Beds;
B) Accessories;
C) Mattresses.
See the requirement specification for detailed requirements.
A framework agreement with up to three suppliers will be entered into. The suppliers will be ranked with priority from 1 to 3. The suppliers will be contacted in accordance with priority for call-offs against the framework agreement. Suppliers with priority 2 and 3 will be invited when the suppliers with higher priority cannot deliver in accordance with contractual obligations. Larger procurements, e.g. projects, will be subject to internal mini contests between the 3 suppliers. The contract award criteria for the mini contest are identical with the ones in the tender contest. However, the weighting of the criteria might vary.

The hospital beds and mattresses are expected to represent 70 % of the volume, junior beds, cots and obesity beds with mattresses are expected to represent approx. 25 % of the volume. Bedside tables represent approx. 5 % of the volume Please note that the volume may vary from year to year. The volume is not binding for the contracting authority.
