Framework agreement laundry services — reference 17/61
Vefsn municipality would like to sign a contract for laundry services for the period 2017 — 2021. The contract is based on hired textiles.
The contract will be for 4 years with an option for a following year / 1 year. Vefsn municipality will give 6 months notice if it decides to take up the option.
The service consists of hiring textiles, laundry and dry cleaning, as well as transportation, collection and delivery to the following units, which are all located within the Mosjøen town border.
The largest volume in this contract is for the following:
— Laundry and dry cleaning of patients' clothes.
— Laundry and dry cleaning of textiles/hired textiles (cloths, curtains, duvets, pillows).
— Laundry and dry cleaning of flat textiles: Bedding, towels (small, medium sized and bath size and face cloths).
— Hire and laundry of workwear for institutional use.
— Hire and laundry of white cloths, dust cloths and washing-up cloths.
The units mostly depend on delivery 3 times a week (collection/delivery) due to minimal storage possibilities for both clean and dirty textiles.
