Evaluation of The Norwegian Export Credit Guarantee Agency (GIEK) and Eksportkreditt Norge

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries wants to sign an agreement in order to evaluate GIEK and Export Credit Norway. This includes highlighting GIEK and Export Credit Norway's achievement of objectives and effective resource use, both for the organisations themselves and for their schemes, and whether the export financing system as a whole is functioning well. The Ministry wants to evaluate the organisations together because GIEK and Export Credit Norway are often financing the same export contracts, and have a close collaboration that is being continually developed, and also because of the increased awareness of the need to harmonise framework that affects both parties.
