Oslo municipality is in the process of developing a new Munch Museum in Bjørvika. The procurement process is organised in such a way that the Agency for Culture and Sports buildings in Oslo municipality is the contracting authority and the lessor of the museum to the New Munch Museum. The Munch Museum has, as a future user, ordered a new building and has during this process contributed to requirements and contributions. ÅF Advansia is carrying out the project management services. Estudio Herreros, with LPO arkitekter as a local joint venture partner. The Bjørvika Infrastructure Project and the Urban Development Agency have different responsibilities regarding the development of the areas surrounding the Museum. A lot of other organisations and businesses are also involved in the processes and this will have an impact on how the New Munch Museum is successfully presented
In order to ensure that all parties involved in the new Museum are followed up and making sure that the Munch Museum is able to make internal decisions, the new Museum requires consultancy services concerning a new project manager for the new Munch Museum.
