The assignment shall also strengthen knowledge on, and test select measures for, counteracting negative influences from climate changes on blue forests. Knowledge on the Nordic blue forests' importance in marine eco-systems, carbon cycle and on blue and sustainable growth shall be communicated to management, decision takers and other relevant actors.
