The contracting authority would like tenders for a contract for 24 hour operation of an ambulance boat that shall be used for ambulance transport and patient journeys in the Sunnhordaland basin in an inbetween period from 1.12.2017 to 31.3.2019. This will be whilst we are waiting for a new contract for the operation of an ambulance boat in the Sunnhordaland basin.
The reason why it is necessary to have a short contract for an inbetween period is that the last competition was unsuccessful and we therefore need a contract whilst we are waiting for another competition to be held and a longer operational contract to start.

Before the contract's start-up date, the Tenderer shall ensure that the vessel is in accordance with the requirements in the requirement specifications, obtain a place for the vessel's crew to stay and rest and, if necessary, employ the crew who shall work on the vessel. It will not be possible to start operational back-up in this inbetween period.

The estimated operational amount for the entire contract period is 54 000 km

The primary assignment area will be in the Sunnhordaland basin. The number of assignments is estimated to be 1400 assignments per annum. There can be trips outside the Sunnhordaland basin, within speed area 4. This type of assignment will be seen as a part of the service's total extent. All assignments shall be requisitioned via AMK.

The boat shall be in operation 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.
