NTNU, c/o MTP, shall procure two machines for servo-hydraulic dynamic mechanical testing that shall complete tasks for expanding the existing research programmes, and open new research programmes for fatigue and rupture of advanced materials by using in-situ techniques in combination with cyclic and rupture testing. Both machines must be compatible with the existing hydraulic power source (80 l/min, 210 bar), including the oil pump and the pipe system, and use the same software and user interface. The machines are different in relation to load tests and load capacity. The machines are referred to machine 1 and machine 2. See Appendix 1 for a more detailed description.
