Gjøvik town hall is being totally renovated with the planned completion at the turn of the year 2018/2019. All the furniture and fixtures shall be replaced and a total of approx. 8 000 m
The estimated procurement value is approx. 22 000 000 NOK.
The mandate for the design of the renovated town hall states that the town hall shall appear as creative, resilient and innovative.
The workplaces shall be organised as activity based workplaces, where most people have a permanent workplace in small groups of open landscapes, with access to different types of rooms to support various work processes.
Based on the given mandate, Gjøvik municipality has, in cooperation with the architect office Kontur, prepared an interior concept that was approved in the management group/coordination group 6.11.2017, which the procurement of furniture and fixtures will be based on. The concept is attached. Plan drawings have also been prepared that show how the furnishing can/ought/must be solved.

We recommend that tenderers, as far as is possible, submit solution proposals that are as close to the stated concept sketch as possible and that other or equivalent solution proposals are described and justified.

We recommend that tenderers, as far as is possible, submit solution proposals that are as close to the stated concept sketch as possible and that other or equivalent solution proposals are described and justified.
The chosen solution shall support digitalisation of processes and interaction across departments and sectors. The systems shall be flexible, dampen acoustics and durable. The solution proposals shall, as far as is possible, be universally designed, i.e. the main solutions shall be usable by as many as possible. In some areas it will be particularly important to find solutions that take care of confidentiality and information security requirements.
The chosen solution shall support digitalisation of processes and interaction across departments and sectors. The systems shall be flexible, dampen acoustics and durable. The solution proposals shall, as far as is possible, be universally designed, i.e. the main solutions shall be usable by as many as possible. In some areas it will be particularly important to find solutions that take care of confidentiality and information security requirements.
It is possible and appropriate that the square and rectangular areas are broken up with other shapes.
Norwegian or Nordic design will be preferred if the solutions are otherwise weighted equally in the competition.
