The contracting authority

Vestfold Fylkeskommune (VFK) is politically governed. The politicians define what is a better future for the Vestfold community and how his an be achieved. The county politicians primary assignment is to pave the way forward and prioritise between the assignments considered important to the development of the county. The Vestfold fylkeskommune's administration promotes strategies for the different political areas. The strategies enable the politicians to discuss and provide direction for the work that shall be done with, for example, education, business, public health, transport and public transport, climate, environment and culture.

There are approximately 2 100 employees in Vestfold fylkeskommune who work in i.a. Education, vocational training, communications and transport, business development, community planning, resource management, culture, public health, dental health, administration, service and management. Approximately 1 800 are employed in sixth form education.

The county delivers services on important areas such as secondary education, public dental service, business development, international work, cultural heritage / memorials, culture, public transport, county roads, county planning and public health. The assignments cross the municipal boarders.

We must take into consideration any changes contributed to the Contracting Authority due to county mergers between Vestfold and Telemark county municipalities.

Participants

The procurement shall cover all of Vestfold fylkeskommune.

With the merging of Telemark fylkeskommune and Vestfold fylkeskommune, Telemark fylkeskommune can utilise this agreement based on their need for economical consultancy.

Contract

The contract conditions will be regulated by the attached framework agreement f services, with associated standard contract provisions.

Triggering of the option shall occur no later than one month prior to the expiry of the deadline, and for one year at a time. In special circumstances, the agreement can be extended fr half a year at a time.
