Helgelandssykehuset would like, via this tender contest, to enter into a contract with a tenderer who can submit a tender for waste management services. The aim of the contract is to ensure environmental, economic and proper accumulation, collection and transportation of waste from Helgelandssykehuset. Helgelandssykehuset would therefore like to cooperate with a tenderer who has social responsibilities and would like optimum waste systems.
As a minimum, the tenderer must treat the waste in accordance with the current laws and rules.
This includes the following, as stated in the tender documentation and price form:
— The collection of waste from containers and deployed containers.
— The hire of appropriate waste containers and containers.
— Emptying or removal of ‘self-owned’ containers to a waste facility site for emptying.
— The collection of various special waste from Mo i Rana, Mosjøen and Sandnessjøen;
— The collection of biological waste and cytostatika from the hospitals in Mo i Rana, Mosjøen and Sandnessjøen — for transportation to certified incineration plants.
Tenderers must be able to attend a site inspection in order to provide advice and system proposals for the most efficient waste collection system. This is with a view to environmental concerns, time spent and finances.
Sub contracts will be signed per location for Mo i Rana, Mosjøen and Sandnessjøen and the surrounding area respectively. We expect to have one total service provider per location. Tenderers must submit a complete tender per location. Option prices are also requested for the hire of various containers and for sludge suction. If a tenderer does not have a tender for these options, a price for them is not an absolute requirement.
The new contract will commence three months after the contract date, rounded up to the first of the month that has commenced.
