Valnesfjord School and Multi-Purpose hall — General contract — contract EP 01

Fauske Eiendom KF v/Innkjøpsservice Advokatfirma AS [Fauske Property c/o the Procurement service Law Firm]

Fauske Eiendom KF shall implement an open tender contest for the construction of a new school in Valnesfjord, Fauske municipality.
The works shall mainly be executed as a general contract (EP 01; this tender contest), with six transferred lots (EP 02 — EP 07).
The contracts are divided as follow:
EP 01 — Main contractor
EP 02 — Pipes
EP 03 — Ventilation/automation
EP 04 — Electro/tele communication/computer installations.
EP 05 — Mobile furniture and fittings
EP 06 — Locks/ fittings/ access control
EP 07 — Outdoor works
The tender contests for lots EP 02, 03, 04, 06 and 07 are implemented simultaneously, and prior to the deadline for EP 01. C.f. further information thereof, in the tender documentation.
The lots EP 02, 03, 04, 06 and 07 will be transferred to the general contract EP 01 — the Main contractor, when the contract for EB 01 is signed. The transfer is to be considered as an extension of the main contractor's contract. The contractors of the transferred lots will then become the main contractor's sub-contractors.
When the transfer of these lots are done, the contractual relationships between the contractors and the Contracting Authority are concluded. A new contractual relationship will be established, where the contractor is a sub-contrator under the main contractor, c.f. NS 8405, point 16.1, the last but one paragraph.
Lot EP 05 — Mobile furniture and fittings can, as an option and at a later date, be transferred the general contract EP 01. The transfer, if implemented, is to be considered as an extension of the main contractor's contract
