As part of the establishment a Biobank at Haukeland, a storage facility for biobanked samples will be established. This facility will cover the freezing capacity for about 200 research and diagnostic biobank projects. We will be able to accommodate storage at -20°C, -80°C and-150°C (LN2) and use automatic storage units.
Approximately 250 000 tubes with 2D barcode will be needed on an annual basis. The tube sizes shall cover what is needed in the biobank and as few different tube types as practically possible are aimed for. Most samples will be stored at -80°C.
The client requests a quote for tubes with 2D-barcode for biobanking. We refer to Part 2, enclosure 1 — form for prizing and Part 2 — specification for further detailed information.

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:
The client has a 1 sided right to release an option of a prolongation of the agreement up to 1+1 years. The options are automatically released and on the same terms unless the Client takes other initiatives.

It is a criterion that the tenderer have fulfilled their obligations in connection with payment of tax and VAT.

Økonomisk og finansiell stilling:
The tenderer shall have the necessary financial solvency to perform the project/contract.
Documentation:
Credit rating, not older than 6 months, and which is based on the last known accounts. The rating shall be performed by an accredited credit rating agency.
If the Tenderer is unable to provide a credit rating, the Contracting Authority will obtain one from AAA Soliditet AS on its own initiative.
If the Tenderer‘s credit rating is not satisfactory, for example where a newly-formed company with an AN credit rating is concerned, this can be compensated for with a suitable guarantee from a bank and/or a parent company with the appropriate credit rating, which provides an equivalent level of security for the ability to fulfil the contract. Such alternative documentation shall be attached as a part of the tender.
