Bærum municipality shall enter into an agreement for the transportation and processing of food waste collected from the municipality's inhabitants. The collection of household waste is to be initiated from approx. March 2017. The waste shall be collected in ready loaded containers from the reloading station at Isi waste plant, and transported to the service provider's treatment plant for food waste. The processing of food waste and container management are also included in the contract. The annual scope will increase during the contract period.
