Rogaland brann og redning IKS needs to procure a standardised vehicle-mounted person lift/lift for use in old Stavanger. The vehicle shall preferably be used as a work platform for fighting/extinguishing fires high up and for work on roofs.
The contracting authority has the following requirements:
— The lift shall be assembled on a standard chassis.
— The chassis and mounted lift shall be built and tested in series. A specific number of the offered vehicle/lift shall have been built and there must be documented experience from relevant users. A reference list with contact persons shall be enclosed with the tender.
— The vehicle shall be CE certified and documentation must be enclosed stating that it fulfils all the laws and regulations that are applicable for such equipment in Norway. (This can be the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority's regulations 555 — Use of work equipment, the Machine Directive, Vehicle Regulations, etc.).
— The vehicle shall also have good access in narrow streets, hills and junctions.
— A working height suitable for buildings in old Stavanger (minimum 18 metres), as well as a facilitated system for easy access to roofs for crews.
— The vehicle shall be designed and put together for an expected lifetime of minimum 20 years.
The contracting authority would like the following fire related adaptations:
— Riser for extinguishing water (outlet in basket 2 x 1½“ water outlet total 500 l/min at 8 bar pressure).
— Cupboard for fire equipment.
— Certified as a turn-out vehicle with sirens and blue lights.
