Snowing clearing on municipal roads in Tromsø municipality

Tromsø kommune (Tromsø municipality)

Tromsø municipality shall enter into new contracts for snow clearing on municipal roads and outside areas by municipal buildings, and has, thus, announced an open tender competition.
The period is week 40/2016-week 19/2019, with an option for a extension for 1+1 year.

The tenders are for:
Roads (concerns areas with a fixed price including pavements unless otherwise specified, foot/cycle paths, junctions, bus stops/shelters, turning places, parking on roads, etc.);
Municipal outside areas (schools, nurseries, institutions, fire garages, water and sewage installations, waterworks, elevated basins, raw water pumping stations, pumping stations, treatment facilities).
Tenderers shall study all the pages of the tender documentation and annexes, as well as studying/inspecting the area and other conditions of importance for setting a price.
E.g. manholes, drains, culverts, kerbstones, fences, damage to roads and outside areas and options for depositing snow. Experience shows that street lights/signposts are vulnerable to damage and extra care must be taken when clearing snow. The tenderer will be responsible for marking.

Special procurement terms will be prepared for the procurement of snow clearing in Tromsø municipality, based on the tender invitation and the chosen tenders. These special procurement terms (annex 5) will, together with the snow clearing instructions, form the basis of the contract that will be signed.
