Procurement of solution for curve and medication

This procurement is part of the program Regional Clinical Solutions (RKL) under Digital Renewal in Souther-Eastern Regional Health Authority. The project shall safeguard the further development and expansion of the functionality for curve and medication.
The area curve and medication supports is currently a number of paper based documentation processes in the hospital in the South-Eastern Regional Health Authority. Digitising of curve and medication and therefore an important pre-requisite to be able to introduce more comprehensive electronic solutions for the specialist health service as stated in the program mandate for RKL.
The South-Eastern Regional Health Authority has had regional projects in the area of curve and medication for a long time. Through previously executed processes, Akershus University Hospital, Oslo University Hospital and Østfold Hospital have procured and introduced the MetaVision system solution.
The overall objective is to introduce a thorough electronic curve and medication solution as a standardised, consolidated and regional solution at all of the hospitals in South-Eastern Regional Health Authority. The solution shall include both technical beds/treatment places (such as anaesthesia, intensive care, surgery), and other treatment places in the hospital (including i.a. Wards, day treatment and outpatient clinics). A joint regional solution for curve and medication will provide significant assistance in bettering of patient safety and quality of patient treatment and diagnostics. Also, a common regional solution will form the basis for better documentation of treatment results and resource consumption, and for clinical research
Curve is currently a term and a function that is connected to patients that are admitted or attend daily treatment. It is relevant to expand the use of the curve to the time line and also between stays at the hospital, whether the patient is home or helped by pre-hospital services. It is therefore desirable that the solution for curve and medication in the future can be developed for use in connection with this, if the Contracting Authority deems it appropriate.
The procurement comprises the purchase of regional solutions that shall cover the need for system solution in curve and medication at the hospitals under the South Eastern Regional Health Authority, that i.a. Includes any adjustments, introduction and maintenance of the solution.
