Procurement of institutional kitchen equipment for Vefsn production kitchen — reference number 15/106

Vefsn Kommune [Vefsn municipality]

Vefsn municipality shall construct a new production equipment that shall be completed in 2018. The kitchen currently produces 320 dinner portions with desserts/soups per day. In addition approx. 600 loaves of bread are baked per week as well as some catering and preparation of cakes. The deliveries currently go mostly to persons living at home, the municipality's institutions/nursing homes, some nurseries, Mosjøen prison and Helgeland Hospital, Department Mosjøen.
This enquiry is for new production equipment and a system for fitting out the kitchen, except refrigeration/freezer, which will be a separate tender.
A lot of emphasis will be put on an optimum production line for this kitchen, which currently has 5,8 manlabour years. The tender for the actual building will be announced when the equipment supplier has been chosen. The aim is that the chosen and involved suppliers shall be a team in order to achieve the total best system so that the production kitchen has optimum systems for both production and other planning and area usage.
