A detailed traffic model shall be established in cooperation with Trondheim municipality and the Environment Package for the Trondheim area by using the software tool Aimsun. A model for the morning and afternoon rush hours shall be established. The model shall be established as a hybrid model, where parts of the model area are established as a micro model, whilst the rest of the model area is developed as a mesmo model.
The model area covers most of Trondheim municipality, as well as the stretch from Trondheim to Hommelvik.
The traffic model shall be used for detailed analyses of accessibility and traffic flow for buses and cars in the morning and afternoon rush hours.

All of the these shall be included in the model. The map of the overview of the signal installations is available electronically as an attachment to this notice.During the contract period the tenderer shall work together with the contracting authority on the development and calibration of the model. The concrete work shall be carried out by the tenderer.
