The works include detailed engineering design, manufacturing, delivery and assembly of a maintenance wagon for the Hålogaland Bridge. The wagon shall be in accordance with delivered principle drafts and function description. The wagon shall be approved and certified in accordance with Norwegian legislation, rules and standards. The total width of the maintenance wagon is 20,8 metres. The length is 3 metres and the headroom under the bridge box is 2,1 metres. The maximum weight of the wagon is 4,0 tonnes.— The load-bearing structures and truss shall be made of weather resisting and non-corroding light metal;— Dense encasement of the wagon's bottom and sides with water resisting and non-corroding light metal or other alternatives in accordance with the contractor's proposals and the Contracting Authority's approval. The bottom shall be sealed. The wagon shall have 100 mm high edge rails along the bottom and stairs. The sides of the wagon shall have mesh with 50 x 50 mm mesh width. Both ends of the wagon shall contain wind-shields. Cf. Draft K0973;— Wheel bogies, driving wheels, caster wheels and parking brake/espagnolette lock;— Propulsion aggregate;— Hydraulic system with valves, engines and cylinders for planned stops and parking, including storm protection;— Manoeuvring equipment shall be installed on the wagon;— An emergency stop function for protection against derailments, collisions, etc;— Mobile manoeuvring equipment with a wireless range of minimum 200 metres;— Power supply, lighting, earthing.In parked position, by the towers, the middle of the bridge and in the ¼ spots, the wagon shall be able to connect to permanent power supply (established in a different contract).
