Nedre Romerike Avløpsselskap IKS (NRA) [Nedre Romerike Sewage Company]

Nedre Romerike Sewage Company (henceforth referred to as NRA) cleanses sewage water for three municipalities with a total connection of approx. 130 000 pe. The entire region is growing rapidly and the dimensioning basis for the facility is based on NRA have almost double the amount of connections in 2040. NRA shall, in order to reduce emissions of sewage water, construct a chemical cleansing stage, including a preliminary treatment process of the water that runs in spillway in front of the existing plant. The new cleansing stage will be entirely built in rock. This contract consists of carrying out the construction work for the development of the new cleaning stage. The dominating work assignment will be to cast all the water conveying channels and basins in addition to other concrete constructions.

The construction contract mostly consists of the following:1. Establishment of foundations/quality filling for the concrete work, approx. 2 000 m22. Establishment of drainage that shall go to the pump pits for the pump sumps.3. Casting bottom plates approx.1 400 m2.4. Casting approx. 4 600 m2 walls, of which approx. 3 600 m2 walls shall be of waterproof concrete.5. Casting approx. 3 500 m2 concrete covers over channels and basins.6. Surface treatment of concrete surfaces, preferably with epoxy.7. Establishment of two bridge cranes, which shall cover both of the main halls.8. Establishment of drip protection at the tunnel fabric over all operational areas.9. A concrete room shall be established in a technical room for a transformer and an electrical room and a bottom plate for an aggregate and coal filter.10. The above concrete amounts also include concrete work for a free-standing chemical room. Comprises a bottom plate, walls and a cover.11. The contractor must reckon on some one-sided sheathing in the chemical room and the inlet and outlet channel.A total of approx. 30,000 solid m3 shall be blasted for OREA and the accompanying rock room/technical room. The rock room for OREA will be approx. 60 m long, 20 m wide and approx. 20 m high. The maximum width of the concrete constructions will be 18 m, i.e. there will be a gap of approx. one metre between the rock wall and the outer edge of the concrete.The construction contract will be responsible for the progress coordination between all the contracts in the construction phase, including the machine/process supplier, electro contractor, ventilation contractor and plumbing contractor. Most of the construction contract's work will be in the period (tentatively) 1.4.2017 — 1.1.2018, but there will also be some remaining work in 2018.The construction contractor shall also be a main company in accordance with AML.
