Nordland fylkeskommune c/o the property section as the contracting authority, invites tenderers to an open competition on new shared buildings at The Polar Circle Sixth Form College Mo i Rana, study location Mjølan.
Nordland Fylkeskommune plans to build a new shared building at The Polar Circle Sixth Form College. The planned building has a Gross External Area of approx. 3 350 m
The first floor of the shared building consists of the main entry, sanitation room, bicycle parking, parking and a room for service facilities and technical installations. The second floor houses administration, canteen, teaching areas for service and transport and restaurant and food subjects, as well as a number of common areas in the core. These common areas are distributed over both the 2nd and 3rd floors. The 3rd floor consists of teaching areas for sports subject and specialised lines of study, hereunder including special rooms or science for the entire school. Furthermore there will be premises for teacher work station both on the 2nd and 3rd floors

The works shall comprise a complete building, including glass walkways to adjacent buildings, on several levels. Cast on site structures connected to the main entrance and all escape doors/exits shall be included at the appropriate level
Outside works such as pavement blocks, asphalt, lawns etc. shall be taken care of in a separate contract, which will start after all of the construction works are carried out.
Complete connection of all infrastructure will be included in this turnkey contract, such as electricity, telecommunications, water, storm-water pipes and waste water pipes. Connections shall occur in stated locations, via established supply roads/infrastructure under execution in a contract for terrain adaptation prior to this contract.

The following applies for all connections in the contract: under execution pipes and shafts shall be established against the building body, at a distance of approx. 3 metres. It is generally applicable that during the turnkey contract water, waste water, surface water, cable conduits and cables for electro, and district heating should be all be connected. All of the connections/connection points will be in shafts.

The project also comprises clearing the terrain that lies within a distance of three metres from the building structures. This clearing will involve planned aggregate filling, 400 mm under finished flooring in the respective floors.
The description regards filling of regulation requirements and roughly speaking technical solutions and material consumption. It will be possible for tenderers to offer alternative solutions in the limits that are given in the tender description.
The turnkey contractor must include all rigging and operation costs that are necessary for a complete execution of the assignment, regardless of this description. Any additions must be made in the tender offer. The turnkey contractor is responsible for the necessary rigging and operations facilities for their own work and all sub-contractors being priced and included.

The turnkey contract shall safeguard all works in the new shared building until furnishing. (Commercial kitchen deliveries to the canteen kitchen and RM shall be safeguarded in a separate contract. The same applies for loose furniture.)
