The Contracting Authority (Sporveien) invites Candidates to a competitive tender procedure for the procurement of 87 new Light–rail vehicles for the City of Oslo, with associated options.
The delivery of the Light-rail vehicles will be in the period 2019 — 2024, and include simulator, high cost components, maintenance tools and initial spare part kit.
The new Light-rail vehicles shall be based on proven technology and best practice, with a modern universal design and state-of-the-art technology.
The goal of this procurement is to meet the requirement for a robust, cost-effective and attractive public transport offer.
