The Contracting Authority (Sporveien) invites Candidates to a competitive tender procedure for the procurement of 87 new Light–rail vehicles for the City of Oslo, with associated options.
The delivery of the Light-rail vehicles will be in the period 2019 — 2024, and include simulator, high cost components, maintenance tools and initial spare part kit.
The new Light-rail vehicles shall be based on proven technology and best practice, with a modern universal design and state-of-the-art technology.
The goal of this procurement is to meet the requirement for a robust, cost-effective and attractive public transport offer.

The Contracting Authority intends to procure 87 new Light-rail vehicles for delivery in the period 2019 — 2024, including simulator, high cost components, maintenance tools and initial spare part kit.The Contracting Authority retains the right to exercise the following options to the contract.1) Extension of the 87 Light-rail vehicles included in the primary delivery.2) Order of up to 60 additional deliveries as follows:a) Order of up to 60 additional Light-rail vehicles identical with the primary delivery.b) Order of up to 60 additional Light-rail vehicles of the extended version.c) Any combination of options 2.a) and 2.b), however limited to a maximum of 60 additional deliveries of Light-rail vehicles. The maximum number of vehicles to be delivered is thus 147 (87 primary delivery + 60 optional deliveries).3) Purchase of services:o Additional assistance with design and engineering when required.o Optimization of maintenance activities and maintainability.4) Spare parts agreement:The options, including scope and conditions under which they may be used, will be further specified in the Tender documents.2 000 000 0004 100 000 000
