National Road 9 Skomedal

Statens vegvesen Region sør (The Norwegian Public Roads Administration Region South)

The project comprises the construction of 3,25 km of a new national road 9 through Skomedal in Bygland municipality in Aust-Agder county. The new road route mainly lies in the hillside to the west of the current national road, except the last kilometre, where the new road route will approx. follow the current route. The work will mainly consist of the removal of matter, blasting, plumbing work, asphalt work, railing work, etc. 2 bus lay-bys shall also be established. The new national road 9 shall have a width of 7,5 m and it shall mainly be built on a filling. On 2 stretches the line has an extended profile where rock shall be taken out for a stone filling and frost protection layer. Some of the uncompacted matter in the line shall be used for refilling areas where rock has been taken out. In addition to the new national road 9, approx. 1 000 m of operational roads shall be constructed.

Egnethet til å utøve yrkesvirksomheten:

— Tax and VAT certificate, not older than 6 months from the deadline for receipt of tenders;

— Tenderers shall have a system and routines that ensure that the HSE work is operated in a systematic manner in accordance with the internal control regulations, cf. the confirmation in the E5 tender form;

— The tenderer is required to show references to relevant contracts that they themselves have carried out in a satisfactory manner. Information on contracts that the tenderer has had in recent years, with the names of references at the contracting authority, shall be enclosed with the tender.

Technical and professional competency and relevant experience is required of the key personnel who will be engaged in this assignment. Competence and experience must be documented. Documentation shall be presented for the following key persons:

— A project manager;

— Construction manager;

— Foreman.
