The contract is for engineering design services for a new Sandsli junction with the access roads. The contract includes all relevant disciplines, as well as coordination of all disciplines and external departments.
The assignment that shall be solved:
On national road 580, Flyplassvegen, a new Sandsli junction shall be developed with a dual carriageway in a culvert and a roundabout on top. County road 171, Sandslivegen is also to be developed with dual carriageway and a new roundabout towards Sandslimarka.

The Sandsli junction shall be developed with a dual carriageway in a culvert beneath a raised roundabout. Flyplassvegen is to be sunk approx. 3 m fro the current road level through the culvert, whilst the junction/roundabout will be approx. 3 m above the existing road. Flyplassvegen shall be dimensioned as a motorway with a speed limit of 80 km/t. Furthermore, the project includes a new road between the Sandsli junction and the roundabout in the junction between Sandslivegen and Sandslimarka.Accessibility for pedestrians and cyclists is also emphasised in the plan, with, amongst other things, alterations to the foot and cycle path network and separate foot and cycle paths along Flyplassvegen.The contract includes planning the development, including the tender documentation as well as follow-up in the construction period.The planning shall be module based (V770).The assignment shall be carried out in 3 phases:1) Preliminary project;2) Detailed engineering design services and the tender documentation;3) Follow-up in the construction period.The contract includes all disciplines.The contract also includes an assessment of the need for and implementation of surveys (supplementary ground surveys, surveying, registering water, environment, fauna, etc.) as well as analysis and the use of them.Ground surveys will be ordered by the contracting authority. (This order will be transported to the consultant for administration). The extent and progress is to be prepared and administered by the consultant.
