Ås kommune shall establish a modular school by Ås stadium. The modular building will serve as school during the construction period of new schools in Ås. The building shall have classrooms for 476 students, in addition to a department for students with special needs.
The project shall be executed as a turnkey project, and includes design, all the necessary earthworks incl. pipework, electrical works, mounting. Ås kommune will enter into a lease agreement with the supplier, which also includes the operation of the building. The contract also includes disassembly and dismantling of modular building and reconditioning the affected outdoor areas when the lease ends.

Ås kommune will enter into a lease agreement with the supplier, which also includes the operation of the building. The contract also includes disassembly and dismantling of modular building and reconditioning the affected outdoor areas when the lease ends. The modular school shall be designed for 476 students (17 classes of 28 pupils), in addition to a department for 5 students with special needs and disabilities. The size of the pavilion is assumed to be totally approx. 3 600m Estimated minimum lease will be 5 years with an option for 2 + 2 years. The supplier shall do all the necessary engineering and complete delivery of the modular building, including obtaining the necessary authorisations. All necessary infrastructure in accordance with the tender documents must be submitted and be included in the total contractor offers. This includes establishing new driving pattern / traffic solution. After the rental period, the modules shall be removed and the area re-established. The competition is conducted in accordance with the public procurement regulations as well as conditions stated in the tender documents. Contract form — turnkey contract in accordance with NS 8407. Ås kommune reserves the right to cancel in the event of insufficient budget coverage and/or lack of political approval. N.B: The tender documents will be added to the announcement on Doffin 16.7.2008. Register interest on Doffin to receive notification when the tender documents are published.
