The contracting authority would like tenders for 1 LCMSMS instrument for use at the Hormone Laboratory, section for chromatographic methods and mass spectrometry. The instrument shall be delivered completed and, in the best possible manner, see to the requests and requirements stated in the tender documents.The contracting authority would also like tenders for options, c.f. the competition provisions, point 1.8. The offered equipment shall have at least 2 years guarantee for all parts.Intended use:The Hormone laboratory is one of two special laboratories in Norway for analysing hormones and a wide endocrinological analysing spectre. In addition to serving the clinics in diagnostics and follow-up of patients, the entity is aimed at increasing knowledge of the discipline endocrinology. Research is carried out in close cooperation with the University of Bergen. The development work is aimed at method development, particularly within mass spectrometric analysis methods (LCMSMS). The Hormone laboratory has initiated a process for certification in accordance with NS-EN ISO 15189.Approx. 400 000 analyses are ordered annually in routine operation. Several of these analyses are made as a mass spectrometric method at the section for chromatographic methods and mass spectrometry. Several methods are used within research and development and routines are being developed. The requested instrument shall have high sensitivity and shall be able to be used for method development and the analysis of research samples, including serum with low levels of oestradiol. The instrument shall also be able ot analyse steroid hormones in spit and other matrix.The requested instrument shall be able to be used for research, as well as routine clinical activities.See Part 2 Annex 2 — Specifications for further detailed information.
