Helse Bergen HF, hereafter called the contracting authority, intends to procure a new floor mounted monoplan angiography laboratory with a small detector and local control, dedicated to carrying out angiographs of the heart (electrophysiology (EP) procedures).
The equipment shall primarily be used to carry out ablation treatment and electrophysiological examinations of patients with heart rythmn disturbances (arrhythmia) and it shall replace the current equipment (Siemens Axiom Artis dFC x-ray stand with a tilting and floating table), which is written off.
The new equipment shall be suitable for the following uses:
The following are carried out each year in the laboratory in question:
— 350 ablation procedures (burning off arytmisubtrates) as well as
— approx. 50 pure electrophysiological examinations.
This applies for patients who are considerably affected by heart rythmn disturbances. The ablation procedures are now mostly treated by atrial fibrillation and these require a long procedur time (3-5 hours) and a good x-ray picture for placing the catheters.
The laboratory is also used for ablation procedures in children under a general anaesthetic and the lowest possible radiation dose is desired.
We have plans to make minor alterations to the accompanying area and refit the room. The plan is to do this during summer 2016.
The room is small and equipment that ensures good ergonomics and work flow will be highly emphasised.
The disassembly of the existing Electrophysiological laboratory shall be included, and Helse Bergen requires that tenderers take over ownership of this equipment. The price of disassembling/part exchange shall be entered in the price matrix in Part 2 annex 1.
The electrophysiology laboratory (EP) that is offered shall be delivered as requested, with all the necessary accessories, delivered, assembled and ready for use.
Tenders for only leasing/hiring the equipment will be rejected.
In order to ensure equal product comparisons in the price evaluation, the contracting authority will reserve the right to set a basis for the evaluation based on individual components/options specified in the received tenders.
