Framework agreements protective clothing 2016
Description of the protective clothing:
The contracting authority Rogaland brann og redning IKS shall enter into a framework agreement with 1 or several tenderers for the procurement of protective clothing for turn-out crews for fires.
The contracting authority has divided the protective clothing into the following product types:
RA 1: Turn-out jackets and trousers, RA 2: Rescue boiler-suits, RA 3: Under clothing, RA 4: Fire boots, RA 5: Smoke diver gloves and RA 6: Smoke diver hats.
Rogaland brann og redning IKS has introduced a trial scheme where turn-out jackets and trousers are included in a pool scheme and are therefore no longer to be seen as personal equipment. The remaining parts of the product groups are to be seen as personal protective clothing.
All the product groups shall have good quality, comfort, fit, materials, durability and design. See the requirement specifications for clarification of these elements. The contract is subject to individual employees not using the contracts for the procurement of chosen smoke diver gloves and footwear due to individual requirements for fit and comfort.
The contracting authority requests tenders for the above mentioned product types in accordance with requirement specifications. The aim of signing contracts is that this will lead to little work for the fire service when procuring protective clothing for turn-out crews.
