NHN would like to establish framework agreements for point to point communication, with the accompanying support and troubleshooting.
The procurement is divided into the following geographical delivery areas:
1. Need for communication within Helse Vest RHF's geographical extent;
2. Need for communication within Helse Sør-Øst RHF's geographical extent;
3. Need for communication within Helse Midt-Norge RHF's geographical extent;
4. Need for communication within Helse Nord RHF's geographical extent;
5. Need for communication between/across the health regions, cf. 1-4 above.
NHN aims to enter into 10 parallel framework agreements per geographical delivery area. Tenders can be submitted for one or several of the delivery areas, which will objects for separate awards of contract.

NHN has entered into a contract with Broadnet AS for the provision of communication services. The contract is for the whole of the country, and will be what is primarily used for the provision of communication rights to the health and welfare sector. The framework agreement included in this competition will be a supplement to the contract with Broadnet, preferably where Broadnet does not have any communication. Therefore the amount procured under the framework agreement is expected to be significantly less than the current framework agreement. The estimated amount per annum will be approx. 5 000 000 NOK — 10 000 000 NOK excluding VAT divided between the 5 delivery areas. There is great uncertainty connected to this estimate.
