Framework agreement, technical consultancy services — geoengineering

GKI Grenlandskommunenes Innkjøpsenhet (GKI the Grenland municipalities' procurement unit)

Framework agreement for the procurement of consultancy services within geoengineering for the municipalities of Bamble, Drangedal, Kragerø, Porsgrunn Siljan and Skien. Municipal and inter-municipal companies and other participants in GKI will have an option for the contract, see chapter 6.
The Contracting Authority's requirement for consultancy services can be:
1. Preliminary assessment of geoengineering conditions in connection with:
— Excavations, laying foundation (buildings, walls, pipe lines),
— Stability of slopes in uncompact materials,
— Reduction in the ground water level;
2. Preparation of proposal to ground surveys' programme:
— This work includes necessary basis for obtaining quotations on ground surveys;
3. A final assessment of geoengineering conditions in connection with:
— Excavations works and laying foundations (buildings, walls, pipelines),
— Stability of slopes in uncompact materials,
— Reduction in the ground water level;
4. Geotechnical engineering design services:
— Excavations works and laying foundations (buildings, walls, pipelines). Special foundation methods such as injections are not included in the contract,
— Improving stability of slopes in uncompact material,
— Reduction in the ground water level.
Measures to prevent reduction in the ground water level.
Necessary measures if the ground water level shall be reduced.
Tenders shall be submitted for the entire inquiry which applies to all municipalities and participants in the GKI (the Grenland municipalities' procurement unit).
The framework agreement period is 2 years with option for prolongation of the agreement with 1+1 year.
