Framework agreement; laundry services

Drammen kommune (Drammen municipality)

Drammen municipality, c/o Health, Social Services and Welfare shall enter into a new framework agreement for the hire and laundry of workwear and flat textiles in the welfare service. The framework agreement will also cover the delivery of workwear and flat textiles to Legevakta i Drammensregionen IKS (hereafter called the Emergency Doctor Surgery) from 1.7.2017. The contract shall ensure a professional quality and environmentally good treatment of textiles.
Scope of the procurement.
The framework agreement shall cover Drammen municipality and the Emergency Doctor Surgery's need for services connected to the hire and laundry of textiles. The procurement will cover all the service places in Drammen municipality, but it will mostly be for the needs of institutions, residential and service centres and the home care service in the municipality.
As a starting point, the contracting authority will launder bedspreads, duvets and pillows itself, but the contracting authority would like, at times of special needs, to hire the laundry of its bedspreads, duvets and pillows. The competition does not include the laundry of curtains and other interior textiles.
The service also includes the transport and delivery to the Contracting Authority's service centres. Tenderers must familiarise themselves with the delivery locations and times stipulated in this competition. The delivery addresses are in annex 2.
The annual volume and specifications of the flat textiles and personal clothing are stated in the attached price form and are based on statistics for 2015. Emphasis is put on the fact that the stated volumes are only estimates and the Contracting Authority is, therefore, not bound to a specific annual volume.
Tenders for parts of the delivery will not be accepted.
Alternative tenders will not be accepted.
Attention is drawn to the fact that due to staff holidays, questions about the tender documentation can only be asked until 13.7.2016.
The competition is announced in Doffin in accordance with the public procurement regulations.
