Bergen kommune, Water and Sewage Authority (VAV), manages W&S installations that include over 100 km of tunnels and caverns. Since 2007, inspections have been undertaken for control and implement safety measures in order to ensure safety against debris and landslides in many of the installations. The W&S installations in mountains consist of a treatment plant for waste water and associated supply tunnels, sewage and discharge tunnels, water treatment plants with pure water basins, and tunnels for supply and distribution to the consumers. The framework agreement shall have a duration of 2 years, with an option for the Contracting Authority to extend the contract once or several times for a further 2 years, with a total maximum of 4 years. The Contracting Authority shall give notification of exercising options, at the latest 30 days before the end of the agreement period.

The tenderer shall have the tax, payroll tax and VAT payments in order.

The credit rating report must be based on updated accounting information.
