Framework agreement for Bridge Maintenance in Østfold, Akershus and Oslo 2017-2019

A framework agreement shall be signed for the execution of bridge maintenance on national and county roads in Akershus and Østfold as well as national roads in Oslo. The Norwegian Public Roads Administration intends to sign contracts with three contractors.
The framework agreement includes maintenance measures of varying scopes. The contracting authority distinguish between extensive and smaller maintenance measures. The total scope is estimated to be up to 40 000 000 NOK per year dependent on fundings.
The Norwegian Public Roads Administration has an option for a contract extension for further 2 years on unchanged terms.
The works mainly includes the following:
Concrete works: Concrete renovation and ‘new’ concrete works.
Railing works: Repairs and replacement.
Steel works: The welding of a load-bearing structures and replacing parts of the structure.
Wood structures: Inspecting resilience and post-mounting wooden tie beams. Measures for creosote residue.
Surface treatment: Treatment of steel and concrete surfaces.
Drainage: Removing existing and assembling new drainage pipes.
Joint works: Repairs of joints and joint thresholds, replacing asphalt joints, simple asphalt and scratch resisting joints.
Other works: The replacement of membrane and wearing courses, the replacement of bearing, Culvert replacements.
