Trondheim municipality, hereafter called the contracting authority, invite tenderers to an open tender contest for a contract for fish and fish products for the municipality's units. A further description of the assignment is given in Annex 1 the Requirement Specifications and Award Criteria.
Trondheim municipality's production kitchen is the unit that is the main user of the contract, but Trondheim municipality's other units can also use the contract if needed for products included in the contract.
Trondheim municipality's production kitchen delivers food to all the nursing homes in the municipality and to persons living at home in addition to catering for private customers.
There has been focus in recent years on food and health in nurseries and schools this has led to an increased need from these units.
All the municipality's units are obliged to undertake purchases with the tender with whom the framework agreement is entered into, and the selected tenderer is, after orders are placed by the individual units, obliged to deliver in accordance with the framework agreement.
The contract is subject to possible organisational changes that can affect the contract. The contracting authority can also choose to not use the contract for special projects.
The contracting authority reserves the right to combine tenders from various concepts and tenderers.

The contracting authority purchases products included in this tender for a total value of approx. 4 000 000 NOK per annum, excluding VAT.The contracting authority has based its specification of products and the estimate of the volume on the consumption in 2015. The consumption is based on the current consumption at the production kitchen, as well as for some other units. The menus can be changed in the contract period, i.e. the consumption increases for 1 product and decreases for 1 that currently has a high volume, or we include a new product. The contracting authority shall then equivalently calculate as for the products with the current highest volume for replacement products.In the contract period, the procurements cover all purchases within the product range covered by this contract and that are undertaken by the Contracting Authority with co-operating partners.16 000 000
