The company would like tenders for a bank loan facility for 650 000 000 NOK for the development of the E16 project on the stretch Bagn — Bjørgo in Oppland as described in the Parliamentary Proposition 140 S (2014 — 2015). Central points on the development and financing of the stretch are as follows:
— Vegfinans E16 Oppland AS is in charge of, amongst other things, the loan and toll money collection for the project;
— The county council in Oppland decided 15.6.2015 to provide a county guarantee in the way of surety for up to 900 000 000 NOK for the company, including previous loans for the development of the stretch Fønhus — Bagn;
— The construction start on the stretch Bagn — Bjørgo is expected to be in 2016 and the toll money collection will commence after the project has been completed. There is normally a 15 year collection period.
Tender documentation will be prepared that will be distributed to qualified tenderers who register their interest in participating in the tender contest. The following process has been scheduled for the procurement of the financing:
— Notice: 25.1.2016;
— Deadline for registering interest in participating via Doffin: 4.3.2015;
— The tender documentation will be sent out shortly after the deadline for registering interest in participating has expired;
— Deadline for submitting tenders: Beginning of April 2016;
— The company must be able to withdraw on the loan during June 2016.
