The background for the project is a feasibility study that was carried out by OBY 15.9.2015. The assignment for the feasibility study was to develop the existing areas in the first floor of the nursing home. The nursing home was built in 2001 over 3 floors. These areas (approx. 800 m2) have previously been meeting rooms/offices for the nursing home. The feasibility study presented sketches that it was possible to establish 11 new nursing home rooms with associated facilities. In the declared area of the first floors, the outer walls shall be demolished. The same applies to the internal walls minus the shaft and walls to the lift, reception and HC wc. There are smaller areas on the 2nd and 3rd floors that shall be demolished.The residence rooms shall primarily be the same as the existing rooms on the floor above. Due to intensified requirements, the new bathrooms must be made larger and placed differently to the existing bathrooms. New outer walls/facades must be built in connection with the nursing home rooms, and they should be flush with the outer wall facades on the floor above. There will be a number of construction works such as new cover, recesses for new studs etc.The assignment comprises engineering design for all disciplines, from and including the start of the preliminary project to and including take over. The engineering design group shall also their execution deliver according to The Builders Regulations chapter 3.The planned contract form is general contract.The assignment comprises the engineering design services with execution of the management document (general description all disciplines NS3420), detailed engineering design (all disciplines) and assist in the execution with necessary engineering design works for the project ‘Abildsø Nursing Home’.
