Tønsberg municipality requests prices for emptying septic tanks/interceptors for sludge, block tanks and mini-treatment facilities.There are approx. 1 200 tanks of varying sizes that are covered by the municipal emptying scheme. Most of the tanks are ordinary interceptors for sludge. The facilities shall be emptied in the period 1.4-1.11. Half of the tanks are to be emptied in year 1, the other half in year 2. The tenderer shall, with the help of KMOTek forvaltning, extract lists of the facilities that shall be emptied and give house owners 2 weeks notice of emptying dates and the house owner's obligations. This can be done in writing on a separate form, or in another way that Tønsberg municipality deems appropriate.Blocked tanks.Blocked tanks shall be emptied at least once every calendar year. Such emptying is ordered by the houseowner at the latest the day before. If emptying is not ordered by the deadline, the tenderer shall ensure that the tank is emptied.Emptying tanks for disconnection.House owners are obliged, as a rule, to disconnect their tanks if Tønsberg municipality is to alter or improve its sewage network. The tenderer shall empty the tank before such disconnection takes place. Such emptying can be ordered by the excavation contractor or the house owner.10 000 00020 000 000
