Bærum municipality is the host municipality for Asker og Bærum emergency doctor surgery. The contracting authority has decided to procure a new electronic patient journal system (EPJ) for Asker og Bærum emergency doctor surgery. The emergency doctor surgery shall use the system in its activities, including updating patient journals, triage of patients, archiving patient information, invoicing and reporting. The Contracting Authority intends to enter into a contract for the procurement and implementation of the EPJ system and the associated contract for service and maintenance. The contract conditions will be regulated by the Norwegian government's standard contracts SSA-K and SSA-V. The contracts are expected to start as soon as possible after they have been signed. Contract SSA-K will include, amongst other things, implementation, migration and conversion, preparation of technical interface for the system, training, consultancy services, as well as operation in the commissioning period.The contract for service and maintenance will supersede SSA-K and it will apply from when the system is commissioned and for a period of four (4) years, plus an option for an annual renewal thereafter in the expected lifetime. The renewal will be made automatically in the system's lifetime provided that there are no other maintenance suppliers in the market. The system's lifetime is expected to be approx. 12 years.
